Meet the Doctors

  • Dr Lloyd Cleaver DO
    Dr. Lloyd Cleaver DO

    Dr. Lloyd Cleaver, DO was born in Macon, Missouri. He completed his training at the San Diego Navy Regional Medical Center and served with the Navy and Navy Reserves. Dr. Cleaver and his wife, Kathy, returned to Kirksville in 1985 and founded the Cleaver Dermatology Clinic in 1986. Dr. Cleaver has three sons who have joined him at Cleaver Dermatology – David, Jonathan and Nathan. He founded a dermatology residency training program in 1991 and served as the Program Director until 2015. He also founded a Mohs Surgery Fellowship.

  • Dr David Cleaver
    Dr. David Cleaver DO

    Dr. David Cleaver, DO was born in San Diego, California. He graduated from Kirksville High School in 1998. He completed his training at the St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Michigan and returned back to his home town of Kirksville to join his father’s practice in 2010. Dr. David and his wife have a daughter and son and he enjoys spending all of his free time with them.

  • Dr Jonathan Cleaver
    Dr. Jonathan Cleaver DO

    Dr. Jonathan Cleaver, DO was born in San Diego, California. He graduated from Kirksville High School in 2000. He completed his training at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville where he later joined his father’s practice in 2012. Dr. Cleaver and his wife have three children. Dr. Cleaver is currently serving on the board for the Missouri Dermatological Society. He also serves as the President of the Heartland Physician Corporation and is on the faculty for the dermatology residency training program at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

  • Dr. Baydon Hilton DO
    Dr. Baydon Hilton DO

    Dr. Hilton grew up in North Carolina. In high school he played soccer and basketball. From age 19-21 Dr. Hilton served on a mission for his church in California. Dr. Hilton completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg Idaho where he studied exercise physiology. Baydon always had an interest in the body and while at BYU-Idaho began taking the prerequisites for medical school. Dr. Hilton started at ATSU in 2014. During this time, he did a predoctoral fellowship in anatomy. Dr. Hilton graduated medical school in 2019, and just graduated residency this summer. 

    Baydon is married and he and his wife will soon celebrate their 13th anniversary. His wife, Brittany, grew up in Pittsburgh PA. They have 6 children (ages range from 2 -11).  Two girls and 4 boys. Baydon loves God, family, sports, woodworking, and lemon poppyseed muffins!
